Udupi, Dec 31: Beautiful pooches from all over Udupi won hearts at the ‘Dog show- 2017’ held at open theatre ground, Ajjarakad on December 31.

The event was organised as part of ‘Udupi Parba’, in association with district administration, Karnataka Veterinary Medical Association and District Animal Protection Association.

District-in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj inaugurating the dog show expressed his happiness that there are many people in Udupi who love dogs and take care of them.

I still remember the Dog Show which had been organized around 20 years ago at Veterinary Hospital close to our house & I had won the first prize in Pomeranian category. It was a very active dog & had the habit of shaking it's tail to all those who pet it and it must have got the prize for that reason. Pramod's mom was the chief guest of the function and had given away the prizes.
