Bantwal: Carmel College Modankap holds Kindi Anekattu

Bantwal, Dec 16: Carmel College Modankap organized a one day shramadan 'Kindi Anekattu' at Badaga Bellore, here.

Through this the flow of water is prevented and water is used for areca nut and coconut plantation by the farmers. This was a seva project under ‘Divyas Best Student' of Integral Yoga Sathsangha Mangaluru.

Carol Vas III BCom student of Carmel College was the organizer of this seva project. It was inaugurated by minster Ramanath Rai.

Jayanthi J Battaje president gram panchayt, Badaga Bellore, Yogish Surla vice president gram panchayat, Badaga Bellore, Harish panchayat development officer, Badaga Bellore, Vasanth Anchan, Peter Vas, Rajashekar, Prof Sr M Supriya AC principal, Joel Mascarenhas staff co-ordinator were present. Around 25 students along with the local people successfully completed the work.
