Mysuru: FIR against Ananth Kumar Hegde for 'insulting' Siddaramaiah

Mysuru, Dec 7 (DHNS): A FIR has been filed against Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde for allegedly using insulting language against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Kittur, Belagavi recently.

The private complaint was filed by District Congress President B J Vijaya Kumar before the JFMC court here and the court directed the Devaraja police to register an FIR.

Mysuru Police Commissioner Dr A S Subramanyeshwar Rao said that the complaint would be transferred to Kittur, Belagavi as the incident occurred there.

that's what Congress is... they can do anything ... done enough for 2 decades... now they have all questions... evaluation of PM very often... evaluation of the projects... how much power distributed.. how much is the employment... how much is the literacy in India... what should Modi do.. what a PM can do... etc etc... earlier the sleeping period was 5 years..... they jus slept for decades... now all are alert... if they could have done this earlier... they would have continued in power for some more terms.... any ways... but what we realized is that the language which congress understands is the one which Yogi speaks at UP and what Ananth Kumar speaks... best way of responding... against the people who call PM Neech, Narahanthak, chaiwala.... one of the District incharge minister ended up calling Soolibele "Soolei ..." we know everything... this is nothing in front of those things...

I don't know too much about A K Hegde but whatever little I have heard about him has not impressed me at all. First he was in the news for assaulting a doctor in his hometown. Whatever the provocation, he should not have taken recourse to violence. It was a deplorable act. Next I heard and saw a video about him in which he shamelessly condemns a particular community and its members. I hold no brief for any caste or community but tarnishing the entire community with the same brush for the sins of a few is something he should have avoided. His tone and body language was spiteful and unbecoming of a Minister.

To all those commenting here. This is democracy and you can complain if you think a person has done or said anything wrong. Be it CM or PM. Deserving MP ? For what ? Abusing and assaulting a doctor ? Anti-Muslim comments ? Hatred speech ? For what does he deserve to be inducted into the cabinet ? You are right. In a similar incident reported today, a Kerala Congress leader called Modi a nichi, and the Congress suspended him. Anant Kumar could not have been suspended by Siddu. What mockery!
