Muscat: Kannada film 'March 22' set for release on Dec 8

Muscat, Dec 5: Kannada movie, 'March 22', which has created huge ripples in Sandalwood and had opened to huge public response in Karnataka and UAE, will be released in Muscat, Oman, on December 8.

The film will be exhibited in 'Star Cinemas' at Ruwi, Muscat in Oman commencing from 3 pm on December 8.

This movie has been produced by well-known Mangaluru-based entrepreneur, singer and producer, Harish Sherigar and his wife, Sharmila Sherigar, under 'ACME Movies International' banner. The film, directed by veteran director, Kodlu Ramakrishna, had been released all over Karnataka. It attracted appreciation, huge public response and opinion in excess of expectations.

As movie buffs have been hurrying to get their tickets, only a few tickets have remained unsold.

The movie, which had been released all over UAE including Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi on October 6 had got very good audience support and positive response.

The focal issue of the movie happens to be water. Moviegoers have praised awareness created by the movie on harmony and integration between Hindus and Muslims, as well as social-centric thoughts it evokes.

Ananth Nag, Geetha, Sharat Lohithashwa, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sadhu Kokila, Jai Jagadeesh, Ravi Kale, Vinaya Prasad, Padmaja Rao, Ramesh Bhat, Srinivas Murthy, Raveendranath, Aryavardhan and Kiran Raj, Meghashree, Deepthi Shetty, Kishore, Srujan Rai, Shantha Acharya, apart from theatre artistes from Dubai like Chidananda Poojary, Suvarna Sathish and Prashobhita have added value to the movie through their excellent acting.

The fact that Padma Shri Dr B R Shetty, a renowned Kannadiga NRI entrepreneur from Dubai, has acted in a song sequence of this movie, happens to be a unique feature of the film.

Manikanth Kadri and Ravishekhar have provided music for this film in which S P Balasubrahanyam, Kailash Kher, Karthik, Anuradha Bhat, Harish Sherigar, Ravishekhar Rajamaga and Akshata Rao have provided playback singing. All the songs of the movie have become super hits.

    I know Harish sir from a long time he is a very popular and a we'll known business man who with his hard work has made his company acme trading building materials one of the top building materials company in Dubai and Oman .and this is his new venture Acme movies international I am sure this even this will do wounders

    March 22 " is an elegant piece of entertainment,  One of those thoughtful films that arrives with wonderful screenplay in which stories are skilfully interwoven to deliver a rich and satisfying film a must watch with family and friends

    Eager to watch March 22 in Muscat, I missed the change to watch the movie in Mangalore. Many of our friends told me that March 22 is one of the best Kannada movie released this year.
