New Delhi, Dec 4 (FE Online): The stage for the electoral battle is all set in PM Narendra Modi’s home state Gujarat. Gujarat elections 2017

Assembly elections in Gujarat will be held in two phases on December 9 and 14. The votes will be counted on December 18. Paper trail of votes will be used in all the 50,128 polling stations of the 182 assembly constituencies to ensure transparency.

All voters in Gujarat will be able to see their votes cast through Voter-Verified Paper Trail Audit (VVPAT) machines, which will be installed along with electronic voting machines (EVMs). The Commission has set up 182 all-women polling stations, one in each assembly constituency. The height of the voting compartment has also been increased to ensure secrecy.

CCTV cameras will be used at border checkposts to prevent the smuggling of liquor and money and to stop anti-social elements from entering the states. There will be voter assistance booths at every polling station.

Do not try to Put your hat on others head. You are not the only one.who saw t has t interview. It's on record. OBAMA dint end up praising MMS alone as what you are trying to claim. OBAMA said Karan Thapr when asked about his equation with Modo, that am not going to fall for your trap by talking only about Modo. In my tenure I have worked with both MMS and Modo and he praised both the leaders for their certain respective qualities and said both have a good vision for india. Time and time again he made sure to praise both the PMs he worked with. Am sure you will be more amused to see it Once again.

The question pertained to the much hyped Obama's friendship with Modi which prompted Modi address him by his first name Barrak. I didn't try to put my hat on anyone else's head, but if fits, wear it.

2002 Gujrat election BJP won 127 seats
2007 election BJP won 117 seats
2012 election BJP won 116 seats

2007 BJP down by 10 seats compared to 2002
    And
2012 BJP down by 1 seat that means they lost 11 seats compared to 2002

Now the prediction says BJP will win 95 seats so it will lose 11 seats compared to 2012 election

And altogether from 2002 the BJP is loosing 20+ seats from 2002 to 2017.

Congress is gaining slowly and steadily but may be after 5 years there is a slight hope of coming to the power in Gujarat.

Now certain questions need to be answered:
    1. Who is crushing whom.
    2. When was this poll conducted & who financed the same.
    3. What was the batch size.
    4. Who has authorized them to publish results.

What is crushing here? One needs to get 91 seats to get majority to form government and BJP is scrambling to get 95. What way it is crushing? BJP won 120 seats last time around while Congress had 65. Now Congress is expected to get 82 while BJP is expected to get 92. Who is losing then? Congress or BJP? Why media is so biased towards Modi and BJP even when BJP is gasping to get majority in Gujarat? In an Assembly of 182 seats, 95 is a just pass and media captions it as 'crushing'? Wow! Media is no more the watchdog but bulldog that is obedient to its master!
