Mangaluru: Malani Talkies to present ‘Boney Kapoor Special’ musical documentary

Mangaluru, Nov 11: Mangalorean Sandeep Malani is known to everyone as an actor, writer, and director for Tulu, Konkani, Kannada and Hindi films. With that, he is also famously known as a diehard Sridevi fan, and being following Sridevi’s films right from his childhood. He has a database of all her filmography of 300 films in her 50 year career. Recently, he had also made a musical documentary on her titled ‘Roop Ki Rani Sridevi’.

Being associated with Boney Kapoor, Malani has also made a short musical collage of all Boney Kapoor productions titled ‘Mr India: Boney Kapoor – Producer of the Millennium’ which was a birthday gift to Kapoor presented by Malani last year. And the same will be telecast in Daijiworld 24x7 this week on Sunday, November 12 at 7.30 pm and repeat on Friday, November 17 at 5.30 pm.

This documentary which has songs, scenes, pictures and posters of all Boney Kapoor productions and the films associated right from Hum Paanch, Who 7 Din, Mr India, Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja to Judaai, Pukar, Wanted, No Entry and the recent hit ‘Mom’. The musical is edited by Santosh Chawla and is presented by Sandeep Malani.
