Kundapur: Unethical of Congress to use my cartoons without consent - Cartoonist Satish Acharya

Daijiworld Media Network - Kundapur

Kundapur, Nov 10: Well-known cartoonist Satish Acharya has hit out at the Congress for using his cartoons without permission, and what's worse, erasing his signature from the cartoons.

In a tweet, Satish Acharya said, "Dear @INCIndia it was unethical on your part to use my cartoons without taking permission & also erase my signature! @INCKarnataka."

Speaking to daijiworld, Acharya said that the Congress used his cartoons for the 'black day' protests in Bengaluru to mark the first anniversary of demonetisation on Wednesday November 8. The cartoons seem to have been used on a hoarding put up by Bengaluru Central, South and North Congress district committees in Bengaluru. The hoarding carried the slogan 'Bharata Naraluttide - India Suffers'.

"They did not take my permission to use my cartoons and shockingly removed my signature," Acharya said.

He told a national news channel that normally political parties do not take permission from cartoonists when they use their cartoons, but what was surprising was that the Congress went to the extent of removing Acharya's signature from his creations.

Acharya also said that he would not send any legal notice to the Congress as it would be a waste of time.

Earlier this year, the Congress had taken umbrage at Satish Acharya's cartoon depicting its vice-president Rahul Gandhi and Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah overshadowed by a giant Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The cartoon was taken down on the orders of municipal authorities, apparently under the influence of a local Congress leader.

Satish Acharya also contributes his highly creative and tongue-in-cheek cartoons to Daijiworld. Check out his cartoons here.

The Brahsta Jhoot Party had criticised whatever Congress has proposed and implemented and the chaaiwaala has stolen all the policies of congress.

    THE FAMOUS ARE:

    AADHAAR.
    Without Aadhaar BJP is Niradhaar.

    FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT/ FDI
Now Chaaiwaala is relentlessly sitting in foreign countries.

GOODS AND SERVICE TAX. / G.S.T
Congress introduced it and the BJP with thought senselessly and hastily implemented and now rolling back 178 items G.S.T.

PETROL PRICES WERE HIGH DURING THE CONGRESS RULE DUE TO HIGH PRICES OF CRUDE OIL IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET. THE BJP'S MADE BHARATH BANDH.

Now the Crude Oil Prices in the international market are dammed cheap and the BRAHSTA JHOOT PARTY is selling more or less the same price as the Congress was selling at high prices domestically as well as internationally.

They simply printed notes in India's cashless society.
