Mangaluru: Pallavi takes off to USA in ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’

Mangaluru, Sep 29: In episode-2 of ‘Sulige Sikkidaaga’, viewers saw Pallavi’s journey in two paths, with the support of her maternal family and on the other side discouragement too; besides ignorance by her husband and acceptance by her mother in law.

And now in episode-3, after facing the toughest circumstances in life and training hard day and night for three years in Martial Arts and also working in an Epilepsy Awareness Organization, Pallavi wins a championship of Martial Arts and is stunned to hear that she has won an all paid for trip to USA and a welcome reception there.

With full joy and confidence and anticipation she flies there alone to a warm and rousing reception and a wonderful sightseeing trip. But what happens next is something even she had not expected.

While Pallavi (Kalpana Pandit) heads the cast and Akash Hora playing a cameo, the fresh team includes cast from the USA. Cliff Janke, Robert Linden and Jaime Contreras II play important characters. The rest play cameos for a scene and they include Paige McGiffin, Callie McGiffin, Diane Storms, Kathy Janke, Jan Swingle, Sharon Estrada, Dimitri J Van Driel, Nicole Thurlow, Cassie Wilkinson, Madeleine Mack, Jessica Abea, Alejandre Richards, Will R. Evans, Sonia Hodgin, Carmen Cota Navarro, Chad Williamson, Wendy Williamson, Jim Montano, Eric Zientarski, Hammed Mayahi, Shahida Clayton, Ned Clayton, John Kopplin, Susana Kopplin, James Perry, Taryn Gibson, Jessica Guillen and Maria Ortiz. The USA crew is been handled by Scott Kenyon Barker who has been the associate director, DOP by Emmy Award winning editor Brad Boe, Grip by Jordan Boe. ‘Copper Queen’ musical track is written by Bradley G Janke and performed by Padula Tiger.

Being edited by Santosh R Chawla for The Studio Agency, produced by Kalpana Pandit for House of Pandit, the film is being directed by Sundeep Malani with Malani Talkies promotions.

The special segment of this episode also features the premiere show held in Bengaluru with eminent and distinguished personalities from the Kannada film industry in attendance. Veteran actresses Abhinaya Sharadhe Jayanthi and Girija Lokesh graced the occasion lighting the lamp and giving their good wishes. The actresses were honored during the occasion by the Pandits, Malanis and Chawlas. Award winning actor Sanchari Vijay and top model Jackie Besterwich were also honored.

The team comprised Reshma Malani, Anitha Dulam, Kashish Chawla and Maria Sonali. Aurobindo Kiriyakere was the host of the show.

The above scenes/sequences will be showcased on Sunday, October 1 at 7.30 pm and repeat on Friday, October 6 at 5.30 pm on Daijiworld 247.
