Mumbai, Mar 20: Amidst a gathering of eminent CIOs, Angel Investors, Industry stalwarts, VCs, and corporate heads, Blueleaf Software Technologies was recognised with the Hot 100 Technologies Award for 2017, which honour startups providing unique and disruptive technology solutions that deliver real benefits and innovation.
This is the third edition of the Hot 100 Technology Awards from CORE, whose Knowledge Partner is KPMG. The award was sponsored by Vertiv, the 4.4 billion dollar US networking company (formerly known as Emerson Networks), Microsoft, CIO Angel Network, TiE Mumbai and others. The 23 member jury had eminent personalities like Amit Patni former owner of Patni Computers, Anuja Shukla, Google, who heads Googles Venture and cloud platform in India, Naveen Asrani, Microsoft, who is Director of startups, Amey Mashelkar, Gennexthub from Reliance, Jayanta Prabhu, CIO from Essar, Sanjay Mehta, ranked 8th on Forbes for Angel Investment in India, and a host of other well known personalities.
According to the organisers, this year saw a significant number of entries and the 23 jury member panel was hard pressed to select the winners whose creative use of technology made them stand out. Entries were received from a wide array of fields, from cloud and data analytics, healthcare, education, social media, eCommerce, IoT, and BFSI, among others. Winners of the awards were determined by public voting coupled with scores from an eminent pan-India jury panel. The panel allocated scores and basis on their expertise and finalised the winners. Selection was made by evaluating the startup’s technological innovation, team strength, opportunity size, product and value proposition.
The awards seek to recognise and reward India’s most dynamic enterprise-focused startup businesses. “Through the Hot100 Awards we have curated the most validated, trustworthy and promising technology startups in the country,” said Anoop Mathur, president, CORE who organised the awards. According to Dr Joseph Rasquinha, CEO of Blueleaf, “The recognition of our unique products from a jury as eminent as this is the greatest honour we can get. The combination of such famous companies like Microsoft, Google, Reliance, Essar, Sony with famous VC’s and CIO industry stalwarts makes the honour even greater.”
