A very well organized event by SMMC over this weekend. The special attraction was the Konkani comedy drama written & directed by Pradeep & team kept all of us glued to the seat. All the actors have done an excellent job and the comedy was very clean. After a long time I have seen a very good comedy drama. I have seen Alphonse in villain role before but was very impressed by his comedy act as well. Looks like Pradeep, the creator of konkani comedians has created few more comedians including a lady comedian and it was nice to see few new actors performing comedy act on the stage. Overall it was an excellent event and once again hats off to all the actors and actresses for keeping us entertained. Keep going guys and entertain us with more such shows in the future. Wishing Pradeep & team all the very best.

Kudos to SMMC team for organizing such a great event in a very professional way.
Excellent drama from Pradeep & team. After long gap we had an opportunity to watch rib tickling, total comedy Konkani drama. All actors did perfect justice to their roles and in particular case Ulta Ms. Helvin was too good. Music, sound, lighting, dialogue delivery were super. All the best Pradeep for your first Konkani Movie "Ek Aslyar Ek Na", I am sure it will be super hit. Thanks to Fr. Robert for your dedication in promoting Konkani culture. God bless you all.

And there it was. Rib tickling from the word go. The drama though a bit short was beyond my expectation. Laughter riot all the way.

Really, we have to acknowledge the initiative taken by Fr. Robert Lasrado for uplifting of our mother tongue and keeping it alive in this distant land. Thanks we had a super evening Fr.

For once I felt like I was watching one of Kapikad's dramas. The plot was excellent, the acting of each and every one was super, the dialogue delivery, timing, setting, sound, lighting everything was class. As I said earlier Mr. Barboza has indeed great talent in all departments of a theatre act. He did a wonderful job. Not any less were Alphonse, his Ulta-case wife Mrs. Barboza, the Crorepati Nanu, the Reporter, the policeman, the eloping young couple, Cleevan, Diany and Steven. OMG did I cover the entire cast ? Bit surprised at the absence of Deepak. It is possible that Pradeep must have thought too much laughter can cause some serious health issues !

But the mystery of the missing ring and the chain was not solved though it was a open secret.

Later, after watching the Promo and a song clip of Ek Aslyar ek na...it is very much evident the Mangaloreans have come a long way in the art of film making too.

Wishing full returns on the money spent not only by our Frankyab but also anyone who dares to invest in Konkani silver screen.

Looks certain that finally KONKLY-WOOD is here to stay and rise !!
