The college offers PCMB and PCMCs in science segment and (BASCS) business studies, accountancy, statistics, and computer science course in commerce section. This training is also being extended to high school section commencing this year.

For the first time in Karnataka, Gurukul has started to provide IIT foundation course to prepare VIII to X students for competitive examinations. The institution lays stress on sports and towards providing fillip to sports, Tenvic Sports headed by Anil Kumble has been inivited here. The institution has a policy of giving fee concession up to 90 percent for talented students. Students getting 95 percent in SSLC examination get complete exemption from fee whereas those getting 90 percent and above get 50 percent concession. New programmes like a day earmarked for grandfathers and grand mothers, green day, national service scheme programme, rural programme etc are being organized.
