London, Jun 1 : The Realty India Expo 2014 organised by Times of India in London saw the participation of two of Mangalore's noted real estate firms - Rohan Corporation and Bhandary Builders and Developers.

This is the first time Mangalore firms are getting representation in a property show in UK.

The Expo was inaugurated on May 31, 2014 at Hilton Hotel, by Virendra Shah, member of Parliament, UK.

"The response has been good for the property show, we have seen a large number of people from the Indian community turn out for the show. The number of visitors from the coastal region of Karnataka was also encouraging," says Ron Rodrigues, a long time resident in the United Kingdom, speaking to daijiworld in London.

The Expo was organised for two days, Saturday May 31 and Sunday June 1. Apartments from Mangalore-based builders, along with around 40 top builders from across India participated in the event to promote over 600 projects.
