Udupi: Yakshagana Kalaranga to Organize Govinda Vaibhava from June 18 to 24

Udupi, May 20:
The city based Yakshagana Kalaranga will be organizing Govinda Vaibhava, a week-long celebrations in honour of Yakshagana artiste K Govind Bhat at Rajangann of Sri Krishna mutt, here from Monday June 18 to Sunday June 24.
 
A committee has been formed to organize the programme with Swami Vishwavallabateerta of Sodhe mutt as its president.

Tallur Shivaram Shetty (president), Diwan Padigar Srinivas Tantri and Prof Heranje Krishna Bhat (vice-presidents), Vasudev Ranga Bhat (chief secretary), Harish Joshi (treasurer), Ganaraj Bhat, Prof Narayan M Hegde and Vadiraj Kalluraya (secretaries), Raghuram Achar and Murali Kadekar (advisors), S V Bhat, Guru Bannanje Sanjeev Suvarna, Gopika Mayya, Vidhyaprasad, Pratviraj Kavattar, Trilochana Shastry and Satya Ganapati (members) are some other important members of the committee.
 
The celebration will be inaugurated on Monday June 18 at 6.00 pm.  The valedictory function will be held on Sunday June 24 at 8.00 pm.
