Mumbai: KCWA Bhayandar Celebrates Monthi Fest

Mumbai, Sep 14: Konkani Catholic Welfare Association, Bhayandar (W) celebrated Monthi Fest on Sunday September 11 at Our Lady of Nazareth School Hall.

Fr Melywin Ruzareio and Fr Anthony Banz celebrated mass and blessed the new paddy sheaves.

Sr Patricia of Holy Cross convent, explained the importance of Monthi Fest to the people present.

Chief guest Gilbert John Mendonca, MLA, along with Fr Anselm Gonsalves, parish priest cut the cake and addressed the gathering.

George Sequeira, president KCWA compered the programme and brought life to the celebration with his entertaining games and enthusiasm.

Traditional Mangalorean vegetarian dishes were shared among the people.
