Bantwal, Sep 9: The annual feast of Nativity of Our Mother Mary was celebrated at St. Vincent Pallotti Church, Banasawadi, Bangalore with traditional gaiety & fervour on Thursday, September 8.

The services in Konkani commenced at 7.45 am in the morning at the Church premises with little Children offering and honouring Mother Mary with flowers, followed by blessing of newly grown paddy corn.


Children along with priests and parishioners then proceeded to the Church in a procession to celebrate Holy Mass. The main celebrant during the eucharistic celebrations was Fr Clement from Goa, who was ably assisted by other priests of Pallottian congregation during the service.

Blessed corn was distributed to the parishoners at the end of the service.
