Beltangady: Dr Veerendra Heggade Gets ‘Tarun Kranti Puraskar’

Beltangady, Aug 17: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadhikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, chairman of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), was conferred the ‘Tarn Kranti Puraskar–2011’ by Swami Tarun Sagar, during a function held in Udaipur, Rajasthan, recently.
 
Dr Ujwal Patni, chairman, Tarun Sagar – Awards Council, New Delhi, and senior journalist Shravan Garg were present on the occasion.


 

The Puraskar was conferred by Swami Tarun Sagar in recognition of Dr Heggade’s contributions to rural empowerment, social service, religious, and education spheres in the country.
