Recipes - Jackfruit Seed Chilly

Ingredients:

15 jackfruit seeds (cooked, peeled and sliced)
1 large onion (chopped)
1 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. mustard
Few curry leaves
½ tsp. chilly powder
¼ tsp. turmeric powder
1 tsp. coriander powder
Pinch of asafetida
Juice of half lime
Salt as per taste
Few chopped coriander leaves

Method:

Heat oil and splutter mustard. Add curry leaves . Add chopped onion, sauté until like pink. Add turmeric powder, chilly powder and coriander powder . Fry for some time. Add asafetida. Saute well.

Add sliced jackfruit seeds. Mix well. Finally add salt and lime juice. Garnish with coriander leaves.

    WOW - bikna suke! wish I could get these seeds here. We do get jackfruit but thereare not that many people to even 1/4 of a 'rosal phonoos!' Will try it when I come to Kodyal!
