Baptist D’Souza (80), Rtd Head Master of Fatima Higher Primary School, Pernal, husband of Evelyn D’Souza, son of the late Casmir and Regina D’Souza, brother of Joseph, Rev Dr Lawrence C D’Souza and Lazarus, father of Anitha Shalini / Gerald, Saritha Malini / Wilfred, Roshan / Reshma and Vineetha / Sigfred and 9 grandchildren, passed away on January 9, 2021.

Mortal remains will be kept for viewing and prayers at the residence of the late Baptist D'Souza at Shankerpura on Monday, January 11, from 10:30am to 2:30pm and in St John the Evangelist Church, Shankerpura from 3:00pm to 3:45pm.

The funeral service will be held in the presence of close family members and friends at 4:00pm.

We request all to strictly follow COVID protocols.

Baptist Master taught me History in Fatima Higher Primary School, Pernal. His teaching was so excellent that we did not have to read the book for the exams, just have a glance and that's all. A great leader of the Church, in fact I copied his style while reading the readings during the Holy Mass.
