Michael Pais (84), son of the late Balthazar and the late Mercine Pais, husband of Benny Pais, father of Dr Deepa / William Rebello and Dimple, grandfather of Diya and Tiara, passed away on November 22, 2019.

Funeral cortege leaves residence 'Juldeep', Kottara, Ashoknagar, Mangalore at 2.45 pm on Saturday, November 23 for St Dominic Church, Ashoknagar, Mangalore, followed by Mass at 3.00 pm. Burial at Immaculate Conception Church cemetery, Urwa, Mangalore.

Michael was a loyal soldier who enthusiastically volunteered at St. Dominic Church for over 40 years.

He was always ready to commit himself anytime for the progress of Ashoknagar parish especially to the poor through the St. Vincent De Paul Society. His death is a big loss to all parishioners of Ashoknagar. Rest in peace dear Michael, you have performed amicably on earth and I pray that the good Lord reward you his rightful place in heaven. Our heartfelt condolences to all family members.

Micheal Pais my cousin a devout family man, worked tirelessly with dedication for the good of his extended family- his parishioners first in Urwa then in Ahoknagar Parish. In his younger days he was active member of Urwa choir and on Konkani stage as a much in demand prompter and sometimes as an actor too. He was in contact with all his relatives, cousins and their families, regularly visiting them, happily rejoicing in the achievements of his cousins and their children, encouraging them to achieve more. He was much in demand as a Toastmaster and spokesperson during weddings and other celebrations in the family and in the parish.
Dear Mekkiyaab we will miss you dearly, your smile and your good kind words. We pray may Almighty God rest your noble soul in eternal peace. May he give strength to your family; Benny voni, Children Dr Deepa/ William, dear Dimple, Grandchildren Diya & Tiara and all the sorrowing family members and parishioners.
