Mortal remains will be brought to St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Mangalore on Friday, September 20 at 3.15 pm for public viewing, followed by Mass at 3.30 pm.

I have lost a great friend and a mentor. Merwin was my great support and I grew in music with his company in band Human bondage. A very humble down to earth Merwin was like a elder brother and made me feel comfortable wherever we went for shows. It’s really saddening and unfortunate to think Merwin won’t be there on stages hereon. But I know wherever I sing and whenever I sing he will be a shadow supporting me throughout. Miss u Mervy. It's very hard to believe that Dear Merwin is no more. He was a very simple , a loving and caring person, very talented musician and a straight forward man.
I studied with him in school and college for 15 years. He sang and played at my wedding. He was the centre of attraction during our class social programs with his music. I am sure that he has helped many people in his life.

May God grant him Eternal Bliss, may he sing at the Lord's feet and may his mother, wife, son and brothers get the strength to bear the loss. The Bendor parish and Konkani music lovers will miss him.
