| Hearty congratulations to Dayananda Bangera for his achievements in Cricket. I am more proud of Mr.Bangera since I too hails from Katapadi and was captain of SVS Higher Secondary Senior Cricket Team in 1968-69 which has won the Udupi Muncipal Gymkhana Inter School Cricket tournment for the first time and was also the captain of Sri Poornaprajna College Cricket team in 1971-72 which has won the runner-up trophy for the first time in Mysore University Inter College Udupi Zone MGS tournment.What I could not achieve further after my college days has been achieved by my junior native Mr.Dayananda Bangera.I am very happy about his achievements and wishing him all the best to achieve more in future days also |

| Congrats Dayanand Bangera ! Gutsy cricketer and a prolific scorer. I had the privelege of playing against him in the Dubai tournaments when he was playing for Unilever Group. He was a difficult opener to dislodge and liked to score heavily always. Nice to know that we have our own talented players who can climb the ladder. Good luck to Dayanand as you try and bring out new cricketers with your coaching skills. One fine day you should be in Dakshina Kannada giving helpful hints to our cricketers from the coast.
