Mumbai, Nov 11:

After Samajwadi Party MLA, Abu Azmi, was assaulted by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena legislators led by Ram Kadam in the assembly for taking oath in Hindi, supporters of Azmi went about ransacking shops, damaging buses and auto rickahws at Govandi area in the city on Monday.

Students of the Institute of Caligari Fashion Technology in the metro presented a fashion show in Khadri Collection on ramp, along with Bollywood actor, Jackie Shroff, who made a quiet debut at the ramp in the city.

Supporters the former state minister, Chandrakant Handore, organized a protest at Azad Maidan here to demand that he be made a minister again.
