M'lore: Al Madeena Institute Connects Globally - Launches Website

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore
from P A Hameed Padubidri

Mangalore, Apr 30: Manjanady-Neringana is a small village about 20 km away from here, ornamented with the beauty of nature. The alluring greenery of the village, blended with cool breeze and rippling streams is soothing to the mind and soul. The ears deafened with the harsh sounds and noises of cities take pleasure in hearing the songs of birds and streaming falls in the vicinity. These panoramas have sowed seeds in the minds of some people in the area to bring about an educational set-up to impart qualitative schooling and education on religion and worldly basis so that they can mould an ideal citizen in the rural hut to be a model to the whole state and country.

Perhaps no one would think that this tiny village would one day be connected to the global village. This is merely due to the well-established educational institution and orphanage being run under Al Madeena Institution. Recently, a website www.almadeenaonline.com was launched by Haji Ibrahim Bawa Mangalore in the presence of Muslim scholars and other dignitaries.

Al Madeena Islamic complex, consisting of religion and modern educational centre alongside the orphanage is a Muslim minority institution, established in 1994. It is being run with the help of generous donors and others alike. Since its establishment, the institution has been undertaking a number of social services for the educational upliftment of the community. An orphan house, Islamic dars, English medium school, high school, tailoring training centre and many other activities are being conduced hand in hand.

Spread over 20 acres, the institution is growing at a rapid pace with traditional and modern faculties committed to the cause of providing free education to the orphans and underprivileged Muslim students. Under the guidance of the great Muslim scholar, Assayyed Abdurrahman Al-Bukhari, the institution is progressing towards achieving its goal of creating ideal Muslim students as well as citizens.

According to Al Madeena Yatheem Khana Manjanady, Malaz-Riyadh unit, 'the renowned Islamic scholar Sheikh Muhammed Kunhi Musliyar (popularly known as Manjanady Ustad) is a true spirit of the institution, together with the founder-president Assheikh Abbas Musliyar, who is the backbone of Al Madeena Institutions. With immense pleasure we are proud to say that Al Madeena is dedicated to the cause of backward Muslim community. Sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed generously to www.almadeenaonline.com and for their selfless contributions to the institutions.'

According to a source in Al Madeena Riyadh unit, recently mass marriages of 10 couples were solemnized in Al Madeena Community Hall at Manjanady under Al Madeena Institutions in the presence of scholars. Excellent news coverage about AL Madeena Institutions by Daijiworld. What AL Madeena has taken up is a wonderful task. As the Prophet (SAS) said-" Be helpful to Miskeens/Fakheers(poor people)and yatheems(orphans)so that they are highly rewarded by Allah orphans and me are like this (by showing his two fingers-pointing finger & middle finger-toether)on the day of judgment". May Allah accept your wonderful jobs. Thanks to Daijiworld and its Saudi Reporter, P.A.Hameed for his ever creative reproting and May Allah give him success in his endeavor.
