Dear Anita, I'm writing from Bangalore.I would like to remind the Media that this is a World record and not confined to Mangalore only as you say...I definitely agree with you that the Media in Mangalore have done a commendable job and I too was a witness to it ...but what about the other parts of Karnataka, What about the Capital-Bangalore.We had only a small photo in the 5th or 6th pages with hardly any write-up.
Thats what I was trying to point out at.What about our Kannada News channels, how many channels aired the program. I have seen that the same Media have spend a whole day telecasting Live shots in front of Amitabh Bhachan's house to catch a glimpse of the Ash-Abhi wedding and we did not have even a 5 minute Live telecast on Nirantari...Hence I think you need to think beyond Mangalore....This is a Guinness Record dear not a Mangalore Record.... |

| Dear Ericbab, Congrats to u & ur whole team.I represented KonCab-Bangalore n I'm proud to be a part of the Guinness record. I was very upset of the poor response of the Indian media specially from Karnataka. Is the Media listening..Its a GUINNESS RECORD guys..not an ordinary childs play. The media has all the time to record where ASH-ABHI is dining,sleeping.. About Krishna's affairs etc.etc..but no time for SUCH AN IMPORTANT WORLD RECORD. Mediapersons if you are listening- SHAME ON YOU..This record should have come as a front page story....What else could one expect from the Indian Media.... |
