Chennai, Sep 2: Ayesha Takia, one of the hottest heroines in Bollywood has been signed up to act opposite Vijay for his new movie being directed by Prabhu Deva. The movie is expected to be released in 2008 after the actor completes his other project, Kuruvi.

Ayesha will play Vijay's heroine in this film being produced by London Karunaas.

The first film for which Vijay and Prabhu Deva teamed up, Pokkiri, turned into a blockbuster, and has crossed 200 days of successful running in theaters.

It is being said that Prabhu Deva and Vijay have already discussed about the title of the new film, and the latter seems convinced about Prabhu Deva's stylistic phrasing of, and incorporation of entertaining ingredients in the movie.

Vijay's next film Kuruvi's shooting will commence in the second week of September. The movie will be directed by Dharani and produced by Udayanithi, grandson of chief minister M Karunanidhi.
