Mumbai, Sep 23: The Kateel Gopalakrishna Asranna Abhimani Balaga, Mumbai organized a memorial programme in honour of Late Kateel Gopalakrishna Asranna at Radhabai Timmappa Bhandary auditorium, Bunts Bhavan, Kurla (East) here on Sunday September 22 evening.
The metro based Bunts Sangh president CA Shankar B Shetty presided over the programme. Kateel Laxminarayan Asranna and Swami Suvarna Baba of Panchakutir Mahashesha Rundamalini Temple, Powai graced the occasion.

The veteran Yakshagana artiste Karnoor Mohan Rai welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. The organizer Padmanabha Kateel (Dubai) proposed vote of thanks.
Shree Devi Leelamrut, mythological episode was presented in Yakshagana form, by the most versatile artistes drawn from Perdoor Yakshagana troupe, Dharmasthala Yakshagana troupe, Kateel Durgaparameshwari troupe, Hosnagar Ramachandrapur troupe, Yedaneer troupe and Sunkadakatte Ambica Annapoorneshwari troupe on the occasion.
The confluence of over 60 Yakshagana artistes mesmerized the audience with their outstanding show of Tenku Badagu style, rekindling religious awakening.
