Kasargod, Jul 10: Relating to the murder of T A Saabith (19) near J P Colony on the outskirts of the town, the police have taken three people into custody. In the meanwhile, deputy superintendent of police (DySP), Mohan Chandran, said that Akshay (19) and Vaishakh, who were directly involved with this dastardly act, have gone into hiding.

The police personnel have taken into possession the scooter used for the crime, apart from a cell phone. They believe that the two suspects are hiding somewhere within the district. It is learnt that the scooter the police have seized, is in the name of Akshay’s brother.

The scooter was found abandoned in a deserted spot about 200 meters from the spot of the murder. It is suspected that the murderers, after committing murder, fled after leaving the two-wheeler behind for fear of getting caught.

The three persons whom the police have now been questioning, had talked to the suspects after the murder, but had failed to inform the same to the police. The DySP said these persons will be booked for having connections with the accused, although they were not directly involved with the crime. The police, who went through the cell phone records, got information about the said three persons. It is learnt that Akshay, before fleeing, had entrusted his cell phone to his friends, which the police took into possession during their interrogation.

The scooter has blood stains, and forensic experts from Kannur have been gathering scientific evidence. A jacket was found under the seat. The police, who firmly believe that Akshay and Vaishakh have been sheltered somewhere in this region itself, have launched an extensive search for finding them out. Several places, which the police believe could be their hideout, are being raided.

Saabith from Meepuguri, who was travelling in a motor bike along with his friend, Rayees, was stabbed by two persons who came in a scooter near J P Colony here on Sunday.

Thank GOD for sending this mobile technology. The criminals can be caught easily now ( IF THERE IS A WILL )by tracing the history of incoming and outgoing calls. OF course the same mobile can be blamed for the cases of girls MISSING.
