Bantwal, Apr 26: "The results of Karnataka Assembly elections will decide the future course of politics in the country. The entire nation is keenly watching Karnataka," said national BJP chief secretary Varun Gandhi.

Addressing a public rally at B C Road here on Friday April 26 during his campaign for the BJP, he said that one should always think of the nation, which is equivalent to mother, first and then about self. "People of Karnataka have self-respect and are cultured. To provide stable governance to the people of Karnataka, it is vital that BJP comes back to power," he said.

"Due to the persistant efforts and sacrifices of the BJP workers of coastal Karnataka, the party has become stronger. The party workers should continue their hard work and see to it that BJP retains power," he said, calling upon the BJP workers to strive without rest till May 5 to ensure that BJP candidate Rajesh Naik wins in Bantwal.

"I have known Rajesh Naik from several years. He is a good man, reliable and trustworthy. I am sure that if he wins in this constituency, he will treat people from every community and class as equals and strive to bring about development," he added.

'Ramanath Rai has lost his mind'

Condemning the recent statement by Congress candidate Ramanath Rai that his fight was against RSS chief Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat and not against Rajesh Naik, BJP district president Padmanabh Kottari said that Rai had 'lost his mind', and that the waves in BJP's favour had made him 'ill'.

"Ramanath Rai has been talking nonsense. It does not suit a person with his experience," he added.

Muzrai minister Kota Srinivas Poojary also spoke on the occasion and said, "Congress leaders Ramanath Rai, Janardhan Poojary and Veerappa Moily have claimed that Congress is a poor man's party. They are right, as in the last 59 years, Congress has ensured that the poor remain poor, and hence cheated the people."

Rajesh Naik, former MLA Rukmayya Poojary, state BJP vice-president Sulochana G K Bhat, Tungappa Bangera, and N B Aboobakker also spoke on the occasion.

Among those present were MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former minister Nagaraj Shetty, Usman Haji, Devdas Shetty, Ratnakumar Chauta, Chennappa Kotian, Ramdas Bantwal and Dinesh Bhandary.

Ramanatha Rai is absolutely right about Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. Just google the daijiworld video. He is talking absolutely non-sense about women and girls. He is also trying to give a bad reputation to NRIs who are toiling to send US$ 69 billion to India which ensures people of India put fuel to their vehicles and talk on the latest imported mobile.

Varun Gandhi is future leader of India. He is much better than Rahul in terms of leadership & ability. All the best to Mr. Varun.

Friday, April 26, 2013

sickulars...why arnt you supporting Varun it because he never called himself as part of the Gandhi family.....or because his mother never able to accumulate wealth like sonia did...varun may not be a 900 million guy but he is much a better and knowledgaable person than the Amul baby.

I have only three doubt.
1.How Varun gandhi know Rajesh naik from several years even local BJP workers dont know him well?
2.Nagaraj shetty planning to join Communist party? becouse he wore red shirt fist time.he has already experience in jumping.
3.Becouse of Indira gandhi developement scheme (Bhusudarane-Green revolution, bank nationalization etc) backward category and SC people living with respect against upper cast kota sreenivasa poojary know this one ? he was ed by a upper class person for minister.

I feel sorry for Varun Gandhi. He should have joined Samajawadi Party instead of BJP. It is not too late for him to do so. At least he can become the CM of UP in future.

Declan, Mumbai
Friday, April 26, 2013

Better send him to Gujarat so that he can become CM there as there will be vacancy there when Modi will become PM. Gujarat Janata will definitely vote for him.

The 8th above picture is best example.

Your approach in no way suits the peace loving nature of Mangloreans Mr.Varun Gandhi! You know very little about the coastal belt. Mangloreans are very literate, logical and know to make their choices. Go back and leave us alone...

Friday, April 26, 2013

At the same time entire nation has already watched what BJP has done in last 5 years.
