Kundapur: Dhirubhai Ambani's wife Kokilaben visits Kollur Temple

Kundapur, Mar 2: Kokilaben, wife of the late Dhirubhai Ambani, the founder of Reliance Industries, and mother of corporate giants Mukesh and Anil Ambani on Saturday March 2 visited Kollur Sri Mookambika Temple and offered puja.

She was accompanied by Vishwas Attavar, vice-president of Reliance Industries (corporate affairs and protocol) and Bollywood director Rajesh Bhat and his wife.

Kokilaben was given a grand welcome on behalf of the Temple. She arrived at Byndoor helipad and then visited the Temple. During her visit, she offered special puja and later viewed the jewellery of Shankaracharya deity.

On the occasion, she was felicitated by the Temple committee.

A silver tray, a silver umbrella and a gold necklace were offered by her during her visit.

However, Kokilaben declined from addressing the media. Later speaking to presspersons, Vishwas Attavar said that Kokilaben visited the Temple only to seek divine blessings.

Krishnaprasad, administrative trustee of the Temple, L S Maruthi, Temple trustee, executive committee members like Jayanand Hobalidar, Kalpana Bhaskar, Savitha Devadiga, Atul Kumar Shetty among others were present.
