Udupi, Feb 28: "The BJP which came to power in the state on the basis of Hindutva values and principles has today evoked the curse of the people. The party will soon be in the path of destruction and disappear altogether," said Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik.

He was speaking after inaugurating the Hindu Mahasabha state workers' convention held at Poorna Prajna auditorium here on Thursday February 28.

"The BJP government has been involved in corruption right from day one. Their actions have hurt the sentiments of the people of the state. In the days to come, people will teach the BJP a strong lesson," Muthalik said.

"The BJP has been using the principles of Hindutva for its political gains. It has betrayed the Hindus. By comparison, Congress was much better," he added.

He also slammed the state government for invoking the Goonda Act against Hindus and thereby causing the decline of Hindu organizations.

He further said that the root cause for all problems was Pakistan. "If the Partition had not happened at the time of Independence, we wouldn’t have been facing all these problems now. To defeat terrorism, it is necessary to destroy Pakistan,” he declared.

Referring to the recent arrest and release of a Bangalore reporter on terrorism charges, he warned that Muslim influence was increasing in the state.

He also launched a verbal attack on the Congress-led UPA government and said that it has been supporting terrorism and that their leaders have been spoiling the culture of the land.

"The Hindu Mahasabha will reinforce its presence in the country and strive to realize the dreams of patriotic Savarkar," he asserted.

The convention was inaugurated by Sri Vidyananda Swamiji.

Shravankumar took over as the new president of state Hindu Mahasabha on the occasion, by symbolically accepting the flag from outgoing president Subramanya Raju.

Hindu Mahasabha leaders Mohan Gowda, Vasudev Shet, Harish Achar and others were present.

We can not fully confident of Muthalik's words. He changes any where any time. He is OOSARAVALLI.
Within no time,he can start praising BJP again for some benifit. Church or Mosque should not destroy. The curse will be there. That is the reason, BJP lost its credibility in karnataka and due to babri masjid, BJP lost its credibility in centre (utter failure).

Agree with Khaleel. Congress is the main culprit doing all odd things against the minorities and shedding crocodile tears. BJP and the Sangh parivar has the guts to say we have done it. Two faces with same agenda.
