Mangalore, Feb 14: The fifth Karnataka state conference of Samudaaya, a progressive cultural organization will be held on February 17, 18 at Kalangan, Shakthinagar, here.
On February 17 at 10.30 am, Professor Izaz Ahammed of Nehru Museum and Library, Delhi will inaugurate the programme.
Litterateur Dr R K Manipal, author H Nagaveni, children’s theatre expert I K Bolar and several other prominent guests will take part on this occasion, informed Vasudev Uchil, chief secretary of welcome committee at a press meet held in the city.
‘Adhunikethara’ will also be released on the occasion.
Committee honorary president Eric Ozario, working president Yashawanth Maroli, were present at the meet.
