Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (DV)

Mangalore, Feb 13: Aam Aadmi Party, formed by anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal, is set to launch its district unit here on Friday February 15.

“With the vision of an equal and just society where every man, woman, and child has the right and privilege to lead a fulfilling and nurturing life, free from all kinds of oppression, the Aam Aadmi Party will come to the district on Friday February 15. In Kadri, the party’s executive member Prof Yogendra Yadav will give initiative to the district division,” said S Nandagopal, vice-organizer of the party, addressing a press meet in the city on Wednesday February 13.

He also added that on this occasion, the party’s state convener Prithvi Reddy, divisional convener Chandrakanth, Pramodh Karkera, Hariharan, and several others will participate. Later, a consultation meet to strengthen the party in the district will be held at the CODP convention hall, followed by a public meeting at Kadri Park. The monthly newsletter will also be released on the occasion, and Prof Yadav will address the gathering.

“The party has been strengthened in places like Udupi, Mysore, Belgaum, Karwar, Bidar and several other places. In Dakshina Kannada district already the taluk and Mangalore city conveners have been appointed and the process of membership registration is going on. The party came into existence with the intention of providing good administration with clean politics,” added Nandagopal.

On this occasion, the party’s organizer Robert Rosario, treasurer Agnel Pereira, secretary Rohan Shiri, and Sajith were present.

AAM AADMI PARTY, MANGALORE - Excellent comment in the last part. Yes Congress & BJP can get together to defeat any possible loss to their stronghold. Believe me, if you get the Delhi assembly then that’s it. It would be a great achievement.

I hope Mr. Anna will realize the fact that unless you gain some strength with MP, MLA seats there is no way he (and us) can win this battle - EVEN IF HE FASTS STANDING ON HIS HEAD WITH FEET UP !

We truly hope to see one day your AAP party ruling India.

It is only the first time the road feels rough. But the more men walk on it, the smoother it becomes.

Those of you who want join the common man in this fight against corruption and misgovernance, please get in touch with us. Mobile 9900019403 Email: aapdkunit[at]gmail.com.
Also, please visit the FB page Aam Aadmi Party DK Unit, Mangalore, page of Sri Arvind Kejriwal, page of Aam Aadmi Party and also visit aamaadmiparty.org for more details on the party ideals.
Please note all of us are NON-Politicians, we are just the normal citizen spending our valuable time to bring about a change in the country. We can govern much better than the ones to whom we all have voted in the past.
As many have said, even one seat makes a difference. even 5% votes in favour will make a difference. It took over 20 years for Jansangh (now BJP) to win even its first LS seat.
But We predict that the AA party will sweep the Delhi Assembly polls later this year (unless Congress and BJP fight the polls together, just the way they are hand in glove with every corruption deal).

Well said Jossie Masacarenhas, Bajpe, Dubai. I fully agree with you.

Even if the AA Party does not win the elections, they should create some awareness among the mass that all parties are same and are corrupt and communal with no accountability. Even if AA Party wins a single seat, it can make a big difference in the decision making process, can put a break to the corrupt and open a pendora's box to the general public.

Sir, my vote as an insignificant contribution is for YOU. Your party ideals are the last hope for India.

If not, this country is already finished. The leaders have no ethics, no morals & totally corrupt - whichever party they belong to.

Your party may not win. But please do not deviate from the right path you have set out in. Time will favor you.

Best of luck.
