Mangalore: Roam1 Telecom launches global sim for Gulf travellers

Mangalore, Feb 12: Roam1 Telecom introduced its international roaming facility in south India with the launch of its signature store in the city on Tuesday February 12.

Roam 1 concentrates on travellers who visit the Gulf countries. The global sim provided by Roam 1 offers international calling cards that offer low cost international dialing from Gulf countries.

Addressing the gathering, Manpreet Singh, president of Roam1 telecom said, "Roam1 is a unique permanent global SIM connection that provides the users with free incoming calls in 95 countries and low cost calls to India and international destinations. This SIM is ideally suited to travelers to the Gulf as it provides extremely low cost call rate to India and other international destinations from the Gulf."
 
Krishna Hegde, director Sunikee said, "We are proud to bring this product into the market and we assure that  these products are available to every international traveler. We plan to launch 1000 stores in India within the next six months."

Roam1 official website do not give any information about calling from Gulf / GCC countries. Details are only available from UK, USA, china & few other countries.

The existing service providers discontinue service if the post paid SIMS is not used once in a month. Room1 is a good solution for gulf travellers, required for life long, but cost/service is a matter for all.
