SOON AFTER ME AND JAWAHAR STARTED WRITING FR. MARK VALDAR BECAME THE EDITOR AND DR.EDWARD JOINED US AS " MEDICO MYSORE " THAT IS EDWARD STARTED WRITING WHEN HE WAS STILL A MEDICAL STUDENT ! THIS SPEAKS FOR HIS TALENT IN WRITING OVER MEDICAL ISSUES IN SIMPLE KONKANI FROM A VERY YOUNG AGE.

While I am humbly Congratulating to you Dear Doctor for your rare feat, '10 Years, 150 Episodes...' how can I hesitate to write something in addition about you Our rare jewel - Dr. Nazareth, a man of vision, very down to earth with his simplicity, caring and immense knowledge of Medicine who has won over the mind and the heart of his fellow Mangaloreans and beyond.

"A boy had a tender vision for literature, novel and amazingly his name appeared in the news paper when he was only IX standard". Your vision and mission are ever growing stronger in writing health related issues ever since past 32 years.
You have sychronized men's life in your writings. Your first book ' sex education for youth' 1993, Second book for Married 1995, Once married for their offspring you wrote another book Child Care' 1988. And Finally one more recent publication a new book for the Aged People.
Your books, 1. Bhumi vainkutamth, 2. Advarlelem Phal, 3. Saimbachem Pathak, and 4. Chamãdoracho Puth' There is not a single doctor of medicine who has done any work in Konkani literature so far like Dr. Nazarethhas also written two novels which I do not remember now.
In a nutshell 'Mogachyã dakteraba' (as you were well known in your Raknno column having its imprinting ever since) , having becoming a most successful orthopedic doctor in your profession, your concern for fellow men's personal health, sexual health and family health, your unending zeal for Mother Tongue, ' Konkani' has a no point of ending. You do profess about our vernacular language 'Konkani' whichever may be the stage you climb including while you were in Doha.... all will go down in the annuals of Konkani's History in once own fairest of faire judgment.
