Daijiworld Media Network - Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sep 12: It is a city of colours, of life, of a rich and vibrant history. Hyderabad has something for everyone - a delicate beauty for the eyes of the aesthetic, a culture toned and resting peacefully on history's lap, a populace as myriad as the colours on its streets, and a melting point of modernity that makes it as much a city of the present as of the past.

Capturing this multi-faceted city in all its splendour is a task that gives joy unbound, and kindles the creative eye to no limit. Daijiworld's ace photojournalist Dayanand Kukkaje had the opportunity to tell the story of Hyderabad in a thousand words through his lens.

Some of the sights he visited are the Tankbund Park and the Buddha statue, Golconda Fort,
Charminar and Bhuvanagiri, all of them brimming with history and magnificent beauty.

Hello Daya,

Awesome pics, I am Living in this city from past 4 years, This City has the Rich culture, Beauty and Great monuments, Unfortunately, As usual, our Indian Government dont have any wish to preserve the culture and monuments of this great (Nizam) city.

Golconda Fort is exactly Behind My area (Toli Chowki) , Apart There are many great Monuments like Charminar, SalarJung Museum, Purani Haveli, High Court of AP, 7 Tombs, Historical Mosques, Hussain Sagar, Osman Sagar, Gandipet, Makkah Masjid, ChowMohalla Palace, Falaknuma Palace, Ramoji Film City and Last, but not least, The Hyderabadi Biriyani. Truly the City has its own beauty which is vanishing day by day.

I had been there long back during summer,in the month of May. Not the time to travel to Hyderabad. I still sweat at the thought! There was this 'Air Conditioned' comfort at the Golconda Fort which our guide took us to! Amazing it was- an Engineering marvel thought out in those times!
Fantastic places to visit though including the Safdar Jung Mueseum!
Never ends this mueseum! Great pics Daya..Reminded me of my yester and peaceful years!
