Kasargod: Counterfeit Currency Racket - Two Taken into Custody

Kasargod, Aug 23: Kasargod police have taken into custody a resident of Puttur, in relation to the circulation of fake currency notes valued to be at about Rs 6 lacs. Another person, a resident of Anangur, accused in possession of counterfeit notes has also been arrested by the police.

Police had received information that the total amount of counterfeit currency notes supplied by the person from Alangur was about Rs 14 lacs. Further investigations are going on to check the involvement of this person in the fake note scandal.

Kasargod police have collected all major reports relating to the counterfeit currency notes from the Mangalore police. They are further  investigating the case with relation to Moideen Haji of Mangalore, an associate of Abdul Jabbar of Kaidakkadi, who was arrested a week ago in relation to the possession of  counterfeit notes.

Just yesterday i told Sharath-Mangalore that there are so many samples in Ksd and today that got proved. Really Ksd is in news for wrong things nowadays. Allen-Mangalore as you said yesterday, currency used in Ksd are printed in Pak.
