Mangalore, Aug 20: Konkani Natak Sabha organized the 26 Fancy Dress competition for the parishioners of different parishes of Mangalore Diocese at the Don Bosco Hall here on Sunday August 19.
The competition was held in two categories mainly being; below 15 years and above 15 years. The different categories were ladies solo, gents solo, ladies duet, gent’s duet, mixed group. 147 participants in 67 entries from 9 Parishes took part in the competition.
 
 
 
 
Among the below 15 years category Bondel Parish bagged first place, Mukka Parish stood second place and Derebail Parish third place.
In the above 15 years category Angelore Parish bagged first place, Bondel Parish stood second place and Cordel and Permannur Parishes third place.
Daya Victor Lobo from Angelore, Roopa Pinto from Valencia and Denis Monteiro from Vamanjoor were the judges for the competitions.
Vice President Gretta Rebello welcomed the gathering. Convenor Jery Pinto introduced the judges and announced the results of the competition.
General Secretary Sunil Menezes proposed the vote of thanks. Aloysius D’Souza and Dolphy Saldanha compered the programme which was well attended by Konkani wellwishers.
