A Lonely Eid for SRK

Mumbai, Aug 20 (IANS): Away from the hustle-bustle of Eid-ul-Fitr festivities in tinsel town, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is spending the festival in solitude in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, where he is busy shooting for Yash Chopra's yet-untitled romance drama.

"All alone on Eid... on a thin winding road. Nowhere and everywhere. Just gave myself a hug after a long time. Will celebrate with happy winds," Shah Rukh tweeted Monday.

The 46-year-old wanted to be with his family in Mumbai to ring in the festival. But work commitments for the last schedule of his new film didn't allow him to travel home.

Shah Rukh, who reportedly plays an army man in the film, himself suggested that some portions should be shot in Ladakh.

The movie, slated for a Nov 13 release, also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
