Kateel Temple Priest Vasudeva Udupa Killed in Accident

Mangalore, Aug 18 (The Hindu) : A 54-year-old man from Girigere was killed when the scooter he was riding was hit by a private bus in Ajar near Kateel on Saturday.

The Bajpe police said Vasudeva Udupa (54), who works in a temple as priest, was returning from the temple.

The bus hit the scooter head on and Udupa sustained injury.

Udupa died while he was being taken to a nearby hospital, the police said.

Police should investigate the this case. I think this is a handiwork of some people to kill the priest.

Sri Vasudeva Udupa was a very good human and a great devotee of Lateelu Sree Durga Parameshwari.Very sad to hear the news of his sad demise.May his noble soul rest in peace.
