Mangalore: Bellevision Announces 'Cute Kid Photo Contest'

Mangalore, Aug 13: Bellevision.com, a web portal of Coastal Karnataka has announced ‘Bellevision Cute Kid Photo contest’ an online photo contest for the people of Karnataka living around the world. Parents can submit unique photographs of their kids to win prizes, informed H M Pernal, editor of Kittall.com at a press meet here on Monday August 13.






The contest will be held in two categories: 0-2 years and 2-5 years (as on September 30, 2012). In the first phase, online entries will be accepted for each group with an option to upload two photographs for each child. Once the submission date is over, an expert panel of judges will shortlist five contestants from each category. The shortlisted contestants will be eligible for voting by the website readers. Final winners will be selected on the basis of the number of votes in favour of each contestant and the points awarded by the judges. Similarly, the contestants with the highest number of votes in each category will also be awarded with special prizes.
 
1st prize - Rs 20,000
2nd prize - Rs 10,000
3rd prize - Rs 5,000
 
There will be 10 consolation prizes. The contestant voted highest in each category will win Rs 7,500.
 
The last date for registration and submission of photographs is October 10, 2012. Names of 50 shortlisted contestants will be declared on October 15, 2012. Voting for shortlisted contestants ends on November 10, 2012. Winners will be declared on November 14, 2012.
