Mangalore : 'Yaadon Ki Baarat' Melodious Musical Evening on Aug 26

Mangalore, Aug 10 : Fans of superhit yesteryear songs are in for a memorable treat, with a melodious musical evening all set to be organized at Town Hall here on Sunday August 26.

After the success of 'Rafi-Kishore Nite' in 2011, and 'Lata Ki Suneheri Yaadein' in 2012, the same artistes - combination of Anitha, Srikanth Kamath, Hanief and Ranjan Das - are now bringing 'Yaadon Ki Baarat'.

The event will have non-stop entertainment of yesteryear's superhit Hindi songs.

Accoding to the organizers, the musical evening will be dedicated to singing legends like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Geeta Dutt, Mohd Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, Hemanth Kumar, Manna Dey and others.

Popular musicians from Mangalore and Calicut will provide the music.


The event will start at 6 pm. Manohar Prasad, chief of Udayavani new bureau will inaugurate the event. Hussain Katipalla, district Rajyotsava Award winner, Melvyn Rodrigues, Konkani poet and Central Sahitya Academy awardee and director-operations of Daijiworld, and entrepreneur Sushanth Bhandary will be the guests of honour.

The event will be compered by Prem Kumar.
