Bangalore: 70 Cartoonists to Participate in 'Smiling Line' Convention

Bangalore, Aug 9: As many as 70 renowned cartoon artists are participating in a mega cartoon exhibition being held as part of ''The Smiling Line" convention of the Indian Cartoon Gallery to mark its 5th anniversary in Bangalore on August 13.

Works of reputed cartoonists like R K Laxman, Shankar Pillai, Mario de Miranda, Abu Abraham, Ranga, B V Ramamurthy, Maya Kamath, S K Nadig, G Y Hublikar, David low will be displayed in the exbition, which will be kept open to the public till September 1, except on Sundays.

The convention will be inagurated by Karnataka Governor H R Bhardwaj at the Indian Cartoon Gallery, Midford House, Midford Garden, off Mahatma Gandhi Road, Big Kids Kemp, Trinity Circle Bangalore on August 13 at 11.30 am.
