Hi time prostitution is made legal and licensed activity like in many cities & countries many countries. This may reduce rape, peeping on others house, molestation in the name of culture.

I liked your comment.In fact,though we are boasting ourselves as 'Buddivanthara jille,Mangalore is backward place taking into account the basic amenities in other class II ciities.
1.Important is under ground drainage facility is not in place even within 2-3 km vicinity to main centre of MCC office.
2.Drinking water facility is not still regulated to all areas in city limits.Only tax structure is extended 100% to all areas of city limits.
3.Most of LPG distibutors in the city are chronic defaulters in supplying refils within specified time limt.They supply cylinders for commercial purpose in black.
4.In City limits all most all roads in interior arera are not at all maintained properly.
5.Alcoholism is a biggest threat for peaceful/decent life in Mangalore,yet we keep quiet.
6.This year after the commencement of rainy season or otherwise number of road accident deaths in both Udupi and Mangalore/Kasaragod districts are the highest in recent years.Still no serious concern either from RTO/Dist admistration
People are torchering themselves with incidents like Morning Mist Homestay news,prostitution news,Made snana news,pooja in temples for rain to name a few.

Prostitution is like pollution which cannot be stopped but can be regulated. If government makes up its mind, it can be legalized and then regulated. Vested interests will never allow it to legalized in the name of religion, morality or fear of increased trafficking etc. Life will go on as usual, media gets some some juicy stories to run with for couple of days, victims will shell out some money to feed the police and perpetrators will get back to business after bail. Does anything change ?

In Karnataka, only BJP leaders and BJP workers can have Rave party's and they can run prostitution business. Best example: rave party at Malpe some months ago.
