Home Stay Attack : Who is that Man in Chequered Shirt, HC Asks Govt

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore

Mangalore, Aug 3 : The attack on youngsters who were celebrating a birthday at Padil's Morning Mist Home Stay on July 28, has been taken seriously by the Karnataka high court.

Following the PIL filed in the high court, Justice Vikramjit Sen and Justice Aravind Kumar, who watched the raw video of the attack have questioned the government on the identity of the man in grey chequered shirt (later seen in a red jacket).

Police have reportedly replied to the judges that the man has been identified as Ganesh alias Munna alias Kaati Munna.

When the judges asked if any action has been taken on him,  the police answered that Munna was arrested on the same evening.

It was observed in the video that Munna had beaten the young boys and girls black and blue. His assault has created wide outrage among people who have watched the video. In one instance, he was even seen lifting a girl forcibly.

Munna was also reportedly involved in the 2009 pub attack along with Subhash Padil. Later he shifted his loyalty from Rama Sene to Bajarang Dal. When Subhash moved from Bajarang Dal to Hindu Janajagarana Vedike, Munna too followed suit, it is said.

Hellow red jack man, you seem to be out of place with that red jacket, does it belong to you? Anyway, you look like a dwarf with the outfit of a giant. It does not suit you. I heard you snatched it from one of the elite party at the party. Don’t feel ashamed?

Mr. Rakesh Shetty, so many people in Daiji pass their negative comment on your rubbish/a single-faced pro-BJP slogans. Too much curse from public is neither good for you nor for your family and children. Better you come out from all your dirty thoughts. I, even, sometimes doubt that either Nagesh Nayak and this Rakesh Shetty are the same persons or may be born to the same father!

Arresting or keeping them in the jail, will not make much difference.

If you want to meet the natural justice, take them to Hampankatta and punish them in front of the Public, and it will deter other hooligans in their future endeavours.

Secondly, the open support to these hooligans from the three Idiots "R","D' and "P", it appears that they too might have involved this criminal consipiracy. These idiots must be interogated by the police, to find out whether they are also the part and parcel of the incident.

Video recordings of attack is presented by media, but why no one insist that Homestay strictly implement CCTV Camera, & present d to nearby police station. It will be prevent any such attacks, & immoral activities in homestays, thus a evidence for each activity. CCTV is mandatory in Metropolitan cities. But our Pseudos blindly keep blaming the attack, & doesn't look to other side of matter, as unattention by Police despite complaints by neighbours, extreme highight in news 24x7, nature of activity of homestay, items found in homestay, etc.

This same rascal also tried to plant ganja, and nirodh in that room just to create false impression that it was a rave-party and girls were not chaste. His should be booked under "attempt to Murder" since slapping wildly on the face of weak girls or hitting hard below stomach of boys can cause paralysis or death, like it happened in the case of forest Officer of Dandeli Madan Naik two months back.

Glad to know that HC noticed this person. He should be hammered black and blue. I being a girl can understand what those girls are going through. Everyone involved is this should be punished severely so that no one dares to do this again.

Mr. Rajesh Shetty
What you know about dress code. Standard people wear standard clothes. You follow your dress code in your village don’t interfere in this.

There is no further argument that the attack is not acceptable & it should be condemned....but there is some points also to be noted:
1. There was no BDay cake found in party.
2. As per inf they have booked the resort for 2 days.
3. Where boys shirt gone..? Ist removed by attackers..? or he was found without shirt..?
4. Can Daiji also focus on illegal resorts found in M'lr & around..?

Along with thugs police also slapped male victims in the room(Video footage)Therefore, the Video clipping should be analyzed scientifically and erroneous police officer/personnel should be quizzed.H.C.Judges also perturbed the barbaric Taliban scene and court might know what state govt is cooking in this episode.Henceforth, judicial activism is visible and good sign also.

Can the media/anybody for that matter, gather and publish the bio-data of everyone involved in the attack on Morning Mist birthday party... all their achievements with full credentials please...

that would be an eyeopener to all and sundry - particularly to the authorities that matter...

Yes, this person has to be punished severely. It was something surprising to see the Women's Commission Chief Ms. Manjula doing some awkward comments on this issue. She is the one who has to do something to the women who were being humiliated by these goons, but she turned out to be commenting something different. What connection does this case have to the missing women. I think she wants to connect this case and consider those two boys as culprits for the missing women. Very strange to hear her comments. How can she pick a person personally. She should have thought twice before commenting to the media.

I AM SURE ALL WIL COME OUT CLEANLY. THEY SAVED ALL GIRLS FROM HELL. THEY HAVE GIVEN NEW LIFE TO GIRLS. WHAT IS THE POINT OF ARRESTING THEM?

BETTER POLICE MUST ARREST BIRTHDAY RAVE PARTY MEMBERS. THEY MIS BEHAVED IN PARTY. I THINK THEY CAN WATCH THEIR DRESS CODE FOR BETTER PROOF.

lets just hope that at least this time these criminals will be put away for a long time and their punishment be a example for the people who wish to follow suit...
However this is India and anything could be possible unless the common people unite and DEMAND justice.
