Rons Bantwal to be Honoured with Thai Kannada Balaga Award

Mumbai, Aug 3: Thai Kannada Balaga, Thailand will confer the 'International Person of the Luminaries Award' on Rons Bantwal, Mumbai’s young and dynamic journalist for his contribution to the field of journalism.

The award will also be conferred on Mumbai’s social activist John Veigas.

Walter D’Souza Kalmady, president of Mumbai-based Maharashtra Konkan Association will be honoured with the 'International Man of the Year' Award.

The awards will be presented during the seventh International Cultural Extravaganza to be held at Howard Square Programme auditorium, Bangkok on Saturday August 4.

Founder-convener of Kannadigara Patrakartara Sangh Maharashtra, Rons Bantwal is also Daijiworld's Mumbai bureau chief.
