Katy Perry Wants to Be Wooed

London, Aug 2 (IANS): Pop star Katy Perry says she wants a man to woo her and despite her past, she still believes in love.

Perry, whose divorce from Russell Brand was finalised earlier this month is currently dating Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd.

"I am a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say. I'll let love take the lead on that," contactmusic.com quoted Perry as saying.

The 27-year-old also revealed how she does not want to tell her fans what to do but hopes she sets them a good example.

"I can't tell a person when they should have a cigarette or anything else. But I try to live my life with a lot of integrity and hopefully, that sends a message," she said.

She recently revealed how she doesn't need a man to make her happy as she's the only person that can make herself truly content.

"I have learnt I am in a very modern fairy tale. But I also know I don't need the Prince Charming to have a happy ending. I can make the happy ending myself.

''Being in love is the dream. But the reality of making it work is not like the movies," she said.
