I have a strong objection. These thugs called as police have caught their own associates and they have covered their faces, although red handed. This is not right...who knows the names given by police may not be existing in Bantwal at all. These corrupt police are covering the faces of the criminals and expose the faces of the helpless ladies...Which is not right..

I feel these are all Educated/unemployed Robbers.Police has to give a minimum punishment & chance to them recover from this desease....so its leads to become a good citizen or else they will become criminals and later it becomes headache to the society too..!

Very nice job.

Culprits look quite civilized and modern all with jeans! They look very healthy too. Their punishment should be tilling the land for an year in langoot!

One thing I don't understand as to why police cover the faces of the culprits with the mask?

Is it because the public should not recognize them or if uncovered, some of them could be identified being with others in the photograph?

May be he want to prove that what Poli's are telling is not true. That's why he might have agreed to be uncovered. He might have been exploited by other semi BURKHAS here....

Nowadays youth are not ready to work... They need instant money.

Some sort of GPRS based tracking is required on jobless, degree passed or unemployed youth. Also an effective recruiting system and counselling is necessary...

Good job by police people, but why they r covering their faces, sometimes these people acts decently in front of others.Without covering faces we can recoginise them and be very alert if we see them.

wondering ,why are the criminals masked ,the general public has a right to see those faces and the accused should be displayed. If the reason is innocent till proven guilty ,then why parade them ?!!

UDUPI POLICE are rocking!!!The major crimes which recently happened under their jurisdictions decoded successfully(be it rape, robbery or theft etc etc)Kudos to UDUPI POLICE.

On the other hand, I am searching my community people's name who are must(@least one in among others) in such kind of incidents but for my surprise I did not find one!!!!
Anyways, criminals are criminals who have no faith, culture and fear of god.

Hats off to the swift action by the police personnel. They should have been rewarded with Rs 10,000.00 each, not just 10,000.00. I suggest Mr. Shet to contribute generously.
