Mangalore: SYS Centre Launches Marriage Fund

Mangalore, Jul 23: To mark the beginning of Ramzan, SYS launched ‘marriage fund’, a unique programme at SYS center here on Sunday July 22.

On this occasion three girls were provided with monetary benefits of Rs 50000 for their wedding.

The programme was inaugurated by Syed Jafar Sadik Tanjal. Speaking on the occasion, he said that SYS centre is striving hard to help the poor and backward community which is praiseworthy.

MSM Abdul Rashid Zaini, state secretary of SYS, presided over the function and asked the people to benefit from the facilities provided by SYS.

Addressing the gathering Al Haj KP Hussain, state president of SYS said that the youth and capable of our country must take into consideration and help the backward sections of our society.

A programme to provide 10 kgs of rice to as many as 150 families was initiated and coupons worth Rs 500 and Rs 1000 were issued as a part of the marriage fund.

Ismail Haji Koppal, UB Mohammad Haaji, Nazeer, Moideen Bava, Usmaan Palla shared the dais.

NS Umar, chief secretary of SYS center welcomed the gathering and also compered the programme.

The programme concluded with three Swalaathi.
