Actor Priyanka Chopra turns 30


Mumbai, July 18 (IBNS): Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra, who is currently busy with her film ‘Barfi!’, turned 30 on Wednesday.
 
The former Miss World made her Bollywood debut in the film ‘The Hero: Love Story of a Spy’ in 2003 and later featured in hit films like ‘Aitraaz’, ‘Krrish’, ‘Don’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Dostana’, ‘Agneepath’ and others.
 
She won the National Award in 2009 for ‘Fashion’, where she played the role of a supermodel Meghna Mathur.
 
Priyanka has made her own mark in the industry with films like ‘Kaminey’, ‘Fashion’ and ‘7 Khoon Maaf’.
 
In her upcoming project ‘Barfi!’, the actor will be seen playing an autistic girl.
 
Talking about her role in ‘Barfi!’, the actor in an interview said: “Barfi!’ for me has been a film with a billion emotions. It’s a very special film for me.”
 
Priyanka, one of the most successful actors in recent times, endorses brands like Lux, Nokia, Levis, Bru, Nikon, Samsung and Garnier.
 
Priyanka, who is trained in western classical music, will soon launch her solo music album.
 
Her next film ‘Barfi!’, where she will be sharing her screen space with Ranbir Kapoor, is expected to release in September.

Her upcoming projects include ‘Krrish 3’ and ‘Zanjeer’, which is a remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer 1973 superhit film.
