Mumbai: Mahaganapati Seva Mandal Organizes Saraswat Utsav in Dahisar (E)

Mumbai, Jul 18:
Mahaganapati Seva Mandal organized ‘Saraswat Utsav’ and cultural programme at Vittal Rukumayee temple auditorium, Dahisar (East), on Sunday July 15.
 
The Seva Mandal president Gopal Navelkar presided over the programme on Sunday evening.
 
Ramanna Shevde and Gopal Madkekar distributed the scholarships to talented students and free notebooks to the community’s poor students on the occasion.
 

The different associations of the Rajapur Saraswat community participated in the programme in large numbers.
 
Gopal Shevde urged the community to support the membership drive of R S Co-operative Bank on the occasion.
 
Mira Navelkar and Mulund R K Nayak called on the community to organize the community on ‘vaastu’ across suburban metro.
 
Thane Ravishankar said that Kaivalya Swami has been engaged in ‘Chaturmasa’ religious celebrations at Walkeshwar Mutt and urged the community to meet the Swami and be blessed.
 
The Seva Mandal secretary Bharat Kamat, vice-president Narayan Nayak, Ravindra Shevde, Vasant Nayak, Srinivas Nayak, and Ramesh D Prabhu were present on the dais.
 
Pooja Kamath compered the programme.  Santosh Nayak proposed the vote of thanks.
 
‘Iti Sri Divyanandaya Namaha’ comedy play by playwright Vasant Nayak was staged by the members of Seva Mandal, besides cultural programmes.
